The Brick House

Located right in Moline, IL, the Brick House brings the big city Lego experience right to the Quad Cities area. Owner Becky Farias got the idea for the shop after her son began taking up Lego building as a hobby. Their family started taking frequent trips from the Quad Cities to Chicago to visit the Lego store, but eventually they realized that they could bring that experience to their own backyard.
The Brick House offers a variety of Lego supplies for every age and interest level. The store sells new Lego kits and supplies as well as pre-owned sets, both built for display or deconstructed and in the original box. They also hold a buyback and trade-in system. This allows customers to bring in their used sets or pieces to be bought back for money. They could also trade these parts for store credit or specific items that they’re looking for. Any loose parts are sorted out and placed in large bins for other customers to look through, because sometimes all it takes is one piece to complete a set.
There are also Lego products offered for many different budgets. They have everything from very advanced, large sets offered for seasoned builders to affordable sets that are accessible to many. That way, there’s a little something for anybody who may walk through the door. The business also hosts Lego-themed events throughout the year, such as minifigure swaps.
