Doodads is one of the many antique/vintage resale businesses that the Quad Cities has to offer. Owned by Jennifer Goldsberry for over 25 years, she currently has two locations in Davenport, IA. Doodads offers vintage furniture, clothes, decor and more. The Downtown location has been open for three years and the Village location just recently opened in 2021.
While each location offers a similar variety of vintage products, they still have their own unique charm. If you’re looking for vinyl records, retro kitchenware or local memorabilia, the Downtown location might be the place to go. If retro clothes and lighting are more for you, then try your luck at the Village location. Either way, both storefronts offer shoppers a vintage resale experience!
Goldsberry has been involved in the antique/vintage world since before her business has started, beginning as a single mother looking to save money. She sources Doodads products herself, thrifting and privately buying items that catch her eye and fit the nostalgic feel. Goldsberry aims for her customers to have a homey feeling and to be happy whenever they enter one of her stores.
Doodads also provides services for estate sales, liquidating entire estates and averaging 2-3 sales every weekend. All of Doodad’s estate sales are regularly posted on their Facebook page. The antique/vintage resale community of the Quad Cities is still lively and vibrant, and Doodads proves that by continuing to find life for previously loved items.
