Me & Billy is a restaurant where good food and great service are an everyday guarantee. This family-owned eatery is a place where many Quad Cities residents and even visitors from all over the world can share a meal, bond over drinks, and feel at home.
Owner Bill Collins has spent his entire life in the Quad Cities, and loves the community that has been created here. Me & Billy’s is lovingly owned and operated by all of Bill’s family, who love to work together to create new drinks, menu items, and overall sharing their passion for great food with the QC. Me & Billy’s has been a staple for about eight years in the QC, and continues to be a favorite in the area.
The name originates from Bill’s youngest brother, Dave, who loved to play and hang around Bill when they were growing up. Any time someone would ask what they were doing, Dave would answer with, “Me & Billy are going to do...!” Bill’s first boat was named Me & Billy, so when trying to pick a name for their new restaurant, Bill’s youngest daughter said it was the only name that fit perfectly. Bill prides himself on the fact that his whole family takes part in their restaurant, so having a name with a family story went hand in hand.
Bill and his oldest daughter, Fran Maus, decided to open Me & Billy when Fran moved back home from Chicago and felt that the QC was missing something in the bar and restaurant scene. They decided that the restaurant would solve that problem, by serving a full menu of fantastic food and delicious, unique drinks everyday; all in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
This high-rated restaurant is a QC favorite and it’s no surprise as to why. The menu is unlike any other in the area, and even changes with new seasonal favorites. There is something for everyone at Me & Billy, and the space includes a beautiful private party room that can be rented to accommodate larger events, such as rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, and even club meetings.
