A welcoming office with workspaces for all creative types is what Underground Economy is all about. This coworking space that also includes a separate recording studio and podcast room is the perfect place for fostering all types of up and coming artists, or even students and at-home-workers that want to get work done in a different environment.

Founder and owner Josh Graves, a Quad Cities native, has grown up loving and listening to music. He carried this passion when he originally opened Graveyard Studios, and decided to combine this idea with an open office space to allow for more entrepreneurs in the area to have a place to start their journeys. Graves wanted to be able to create a space for others to start their dreams, like he believed he was able to do.

Underground Economy has grown from Graves’ first venture, Graveyard Studios, and has evolved into a more inclusive space for all working types. The bright and open space is great for people that want a change of scenery if they’re working at home, or even for students who need somewhere quiet to finish a paper. The recording studio and podcast room is essential for those finding their way in the music industry, and Graves is offering an incredible space for people to practice their talents, or start their own podcast and extend their social media platform.

Located right above the River Music Experience, Underground Economy finds themselves collaborating with the great music organization to promote more small artists and offer a place for them to perform.
